Salter Sermon on the Trinity
One of the benefits to having a 30-minute commute is that it allows for lots of iPod listening. This morning I had the pleasure of listening to one of Roger Salter’s sermons. It was delivered a little over a year ago on Trinity Sunday 2004. I urge you to listen. It is filled with wonderful gems. Listen online, download it and burn it to a CD or put it on your iPod/MP3 player. Actually, it is a little large (about 15 MB), so if your connection is too slow or you don’t have a CD burner or MP3 player, let me know and I will burn you a copy on CD.
Here’s the link to the sermon (mp3)
The topic of the Trinity has been on my mind a good bit recently. I really want to read Trinity and Reality by Ralph Allan Smith. I also want to read Dorothy Sayers’ The Mind of the Maker. From what I’ve heard, she covers the topic of the Trinity in her book as well.

Yep- Dorothy Sayers is all over the Trinitarian thought thing. The book, as you know, is concerned with the creative process and our mirroring of the Trinity when we create- fascinating work. I'm listening to it on audio at the moment.
Yeah, that's cool. Where did you get the audio book? Audible? Library?
Trinity and Reality, thus far, has been very informative. I too look forward to tackling Miss Sayers book.
Have the dates on your entries always looked like that or is that new? I hope that I'm not just noticing them for the first time. I really like them.
Tina, you are not less observant. They are new. I added them this past week. I'm glad you like them. I think they add a lot.
